Here are instructions and tips for adjusting your audio and video settings during your videoconference. These can be useful if you are interested in:

  • muting your microphone (in a group chat) and your camera (if wandering away).

Adjust your speaker volume

1. Tap on the other person's video feed, and a volume bar will appear near the bottom. Drag the volume indicator to the left or right to change the volume of the other person speaking.

Mute your microphone

1. Tap the phone screen, and a panel should appear with 4 icons.

2. Tap on the microphone icon all the way on the left to mute the mic. (If the iPhone is already muted, there will be a microphone icon with a strikethrough on your video window.)

Mute your camera 

1. Tap the phone screen, and a panel should appear with 4 icons.

2.  Tap on the "Camera" icon (second from the left) to bring up the Camera menu. Touch the switch next to "Camera" to turn your camera on or off.

Flip your camera 

1. Tap the phone screen, and a panel should appear with 4 icons.

2.  Tap on the "Camera" icon (second from the left) to bring up the Camera menu. Touch the "Flip Camera" section to flip to your rear camera (or back to front camera).

Allow camera or microphone

1. Open your "Settings".

2. Scroll to the bottom and tap on "VSee" on the left-hand side.

3. Be sure that the toggles next to "Microphone" and "Camera" are green.
